This report aims to strategically post-analyze the decision to invest in the African market by Square Pharmaceuticals PLC (SPL). The analysis is based on post-auditing using the capital budgeting method to find out the potential of the investment and whether it is on track since its implementation. The first chapter of this report describes my overall internship experience at Square Pharmaceuticals PLC. The section includes my corporate experience with SPL through different tasks and responsibilities. Finally, the chapter concludes with the challenges I faced and recommendations for future internship programs. Secondly, the organizational part analyses the company’s management practices, marketing strategies, financial performances, accounting practices, and operational techniques. Each segment thoroughly discusses the strategy the company implemented for each department and provides suggestions for better departmental performance. The third chapter includes a post-auditing report to measure the impact of an FDI by a Bangladeshi company and measure its performance in the African market. Square Pharmaceuticals PLC’s manufacturing company in Kenya, therefore, is the main attraction of this report. The report analyzes and evaluates the annual reports and uses different post-auditing methods to create a clear blueprint for the company's potential. Furthermore, the investment also shows the potential to boost the economies of Kenya and Bangladesh. The operational challenges faced by SPL during COVID-19 and how it impacted the whole investment are also portrayed in this study. Both positive and negative outcomes of this environmental catastrophe are highlighted in the report. Lastly, this paper suggests that Square Pharmaceutical PLC maintain a strong connection with the market by increasing brand recognition and control. This would help them to gain market shares vastly in the African market.en_US
