Vendor enlistment at Chevron Bangladesh

Abstract

Chevron, one of the world’s leading integrated energy companies, is operating in Bangladesh as the largest producer of natural gas. Their production accounts for about 55% of the total domestic natural gas production (about chevron in bangladesh). Besides helping our economy grow, Chevron is always participating in many CSR activities which has helped our community thrive in terms of education, healthcare, skill development, tree plantings and safety training, etc. The Finance department at Chevron Bangladesh consists of four teams among which I have mainly worked with the Compliance team. This internship has given me the opportunity to gain firsthand experience on how they keep tabs on their vendors and ensure all laws are being complied with. This report discusses the main responsibilities I have had as an Intern in assisting the Vendor enlistment process.
