Report on Yunusco (BD) limited focuses on various functional departments

Abstract

This Internship report in the industry attachment with Yunusco (BD) limited has shown the collaborative initiative of major 05 departments of YBDL has significantly contributing for the company growth. The Departments are Human Resource Department, The Production Department, The Industrial Engineering (IE) Department, The Quality Department and The Merchandising Department. The Human Resource Department contributes by Strategic Manpower Planning, recruiting right man at the right place, Developing and implementing different policy and procedure, Developing employees through training and Worker engagement through employee Welfare. The Production Department of YBDL is the department with the most manpower. They are the earning department, Quality production, leads on time shipment and revenue generation. YBDL production department run 117 sewing lines and produce around 6-8 million pieces of the product every month. Industrial Engineering Department works on process simplifications, Method improvement, Cost analysis, Resource Utilization, waste minimization and profit optimization. So that the production can run smoothly, earn revenue and organizational reputation sustain in the global market. The Quality Department is the second largest department with its 03 wings. The Quality Assurance wings about the Development of Quality parameter for each and every product, The Quality Department wing works on check and balance system on the operation and end line. The ensure 100% of the product check before send to the customer for inspection. And QMS works on Development of quality principal, Internal Audit and Quality Education. The Merchandising Department Works on product development, Buyer communication, Price negotiation, Order confirmation, Material sourcing, Production Follow up, and Shipment confirmation. They also work on different documentation for ensuring freight forwarding.
