Abstract
The Daily Star is one of the biggest and most trusted English newspapers in Bangladesh. The newspaper started its journey on January 14, 1991. From then, it became the most reliable and trusted newspaper of Bangladesh. The founding editor of this newspaper was Mr. Sayed Mohammad Ali. In the early 90s, the transition from military rule to parliamentary democracy, The Daily Star handled all the pressure and published the most authentic news. The Daily Star does their work as their slogan, “Journalism without fear or favor.”
This report shows the detailed breakdown of my three-month journey at a well-known newspaper, The Daily Star. The internship allowed me to explore the journalism industry of Bangladesh. It also helped to gain the knowledge of how a digital section of a newspaper operates their operations. I learned something new each and every single day during my internship days. I also had the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge that I gained during my media courses at Brac University.
