Workforce planning and recruitment alignment at Meghna Group of Industries

Abstract

I have enrolled in Meghna Group of Industries to do under a compulsory course BUS 490 (Internship). In essence, I have been in cooperation with their HR department where I reported to Mr. Md. Ruhul Amin (AGM-HR) directly. My encounter with the HR team of MGI was simply memorable. During much parts of my working time so far with the recruitment team, I was in a position to assume individual responsibilities and work in a professional manner. This report has also provided a great description as well as research was carried out with a view of having solved a certain problem. The organization itself has provided in the first place a very concise detail of what the organization is all about. In the initial section of the report, the company profile and description of overall business has been described. The introduction about the organization has formed the kind of way, reading that section, anyone can have the correct idea of the businesses of that organization. Second, the experiences of mine with MGI has been outlined in the following section. In addition, my role with the HR team and the HR practices that they apply in the recruitment process have been stated and briefly defined. The evidence that I have found has also stated in this part. Then the literature perspective of the same has been discussed based on the books, journals and various websites. Subsequently, a research methodology that I have employed has been used to conduct a research and it is mentioned and briefly explained. This part includes also the survey questionnaires. Finally, restrictions of the studies, recommendations and the general suggestions are stated in the final section of the report that consists of the information that is found as the result of the study and the data collected due to the purposes of the research.
