Performance and security alignment in ICT operations: an analytical study of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC’s ICT security infrastructure

Abstract

This report is the outcome of three months internship program at Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. It has been prepared for the partial fulfillment of the MBA degree. Throughout this internship, I worked in the ICT Security Department. My main responsibilities involved assisting with the role based access management, understanding the information security policies of the bank alongside that of the central bank (Bangladesh Bank), suggesting areas for further improvement, assisting in ongoing projects such as ISO 27001 & PCI-DSS and at the same time understanding the network infrastructures of the bank. For ease of understanding and to keep the separation of topics simple, the report has been classified into 3 chapters only.
